We are delighted to have brought together the musicians of Musikverein Wallenfels and Bingham Toot Hill dance band Alumni to record the music for this film. 2020 has been a challenging year for everyone and we hope this video gives you a smile as we approach Christmas.

Now working in the music industry
Highly acclaimed pianist and producer, Spen has toured the world with artists such as John Martyn, Pentangle and Joan Armatrading.
A Vituoso pianist, Kevin regularly delights audiences all over the world as part of the duo sensation Worbey & Farrell.
Nathan spends much of his time working in London in recording studios, jazz clubs or West End Theatre pits. He has worked with Tom Jones, Paloma Faith, Robbie Williams, Barry Manilow and many others.
A seasoned professional, Nick has played alongside, Bobby Shew, Alan Barnes and Bruce Adams in the jazz world. Jimmy James and the Foundations in the Soul world and many big bands, including John Millers.
Rob has been touring the country non-stop for the last 10 years with West End touring shows such as Jersey Boys, The Commitments, and The Body Guard.
Joining the RAF as a musician, Bev has continued to play professionally with the RAF bands all over the world.
For the last 20 years Ben has toured the UK, Europe and further afield, playing trumpet, singing, and band leading. He is passionate about education and now runs the Nottingham Youth Jazz Orchestra.
After studying at Guildhall Music College in London, Paul landed the prestigious job of playing saxophone for the funk band Incognito.
Robin has dedicated his life to passing on his knowledge to the next generation teaching brass. He plays regularly with local band 12 to the bar.
Julia has dedicated her life to passing on her knowledge to the next generation teaching woodwind up and down the county. She plays regularly with local band 12 to the Bar.
Pasha has dedicated his life to passing on his knowledge to the next generation teaching guitar.
Still playing for fun
A stalwart of the Toot Hill fraternity, "Ness" has been supporting the band ever since he joined all those years ago and he still helps out when he can. He also plays regularly with local band 12 to the bar.
Much in demand jazz pianist Dickie, has been invited to play with all of the jazz groups and big bands that play locally. He has recently celebrated 6 years of his residency playing at the Yeung Sing restaurant in Bingham.
Since leaving school he has played in many band - Manteca with Spencer Cozens, Dickie Baker trio, The Pulse, Soul station and the Risley big band. He currently runs local band 12 to the bar.
Still plays in a big band and a sax quartet "music has set me up for life with a lifelong hobby that has helped me make friends where ever I have moved to"
Still loves playing and can regularly be seen playing with the Newark and Sherwood Concert Band.
Best friends from their school days, Katie and Liz still play together with local big band 12 to the Bar.
Based in London, Tom still plays and runs his own band in South London.
Multi instrumentalist Graham can be seen playing, trombone or bass for local amateur dramatic pit bands and local big bands as often as he can.
Recently getting back into the swing of things Ed has joined a local big band.
Multi instrumentalist Dan plays trumpet, trombone and piano and he has run several bands since his days with the Toot Hill band.
After leaving school Rachel continued to play alto sax in the university big band and later in the Newark big band The Cavaliers. Most recently she has been playing with Newark band The Hot Dogs.
Steph still plays in a wind band, in brass bands and the Ben Beddoes big band.
Rebecca continued to play in a big band once she left school.
Colin of course, was responsible for the whole era that gave so many young musicians an opportunity to play music. He is still playing, with the Newark Concert Band, 12 to the bar, and many other bands.
Since his days with the Toot Hill Band, Rob moved to Wallenfels were he continued to play with local bands.
Ben continued to play after leaving school with jazz band Borderline. He is always looking for more opportunities to play and is currently trying his hand at Spanish guitar.
Although Pete has a PhD in Bioinformatics and molecular biology and lectures at St Andrews Uni, he has always found time to play. An eclectic mix from jazz bands, rock bands and in the pit for theatre productions. Also a keen composer he has his own studio and has even written scores for TV pilot shows.
